Wild New Year's Eve

We've never been much for the revelry of New Year's Eve, and we are even more apt to fall asleep before the fireworks now that we have a kiddo. We always have a good time, though; we just tend to be done with our fun long before midnight.

This year, we headed to Suncadia for a little 'ice skating' on the rink there with the Finnigan's and Grandpa Don. The rink was super crowded with folks of all ages and abilities, going whichever direction, and whipping their walkers around as they went. It was terrifying but we managed to skate without injury.

We planned to enjoy pizza at Village Pizza afterwards, but alas, they are closed on Tuesdays. We ended up at the Brick, all of us feeling the indigestion of their burgers and fries for days. Oh well, it was a fun outing with great folks. A nice way to start 2014!
